What I Stand For

I stand for a progressive, sustainable, and inclusive Adelaide. I believe that we can look after each other while looking after local businesses, so that as our cities grow we don’t leave anyone behind.

Adelaide has a proud history of being a forward thinking city with a strong social conscience. Our local businesses reflect that, our communities reflect that, and our Council should too.

A vote for me is a vote for:

A PLACE TO CALL HOME

  • Affordable housing
  • Working towards zero homelessness
  • Universal design
  • An affordable city in which to study

A PLACE FOR BUSINESS

  • Council should support local and small businesses
  • We should support and encourage innovative ideas and entrepreneurs
  • Council should support different models of business such as small startups and co-operatives
  • Council should support social and sustainable enterprise

A SUSTAINABLE CITY

  • Better bike and pedestrian infrastructure
  • Protecting the Parklands and green spaces
  • Working towards a biophilic city with plenty of green spaces and buildings
  • Enabling better and faster uptake of green technologies such as solar power, electric vehicles, and sustainable building materials/designs

AN OPEN AND ACCOUNTABLE CITY COUNCIL

  • Members of Coucil should disclose their affiliations, political or otherwise
  • Council should be representative of its community, and should be diverse and inclusive
  • Better consultation with residents and businesses
