I’m running in the Central Ward By-Election in Adelaide. I want to be a fresh start for the Council, where we’ve seen factions and old grudges get in the way of progress. I’m an independent thinker with a strong belief in grassroots democracy, and I want to see the community have a stronger voice on Council and for our Council to have a bold, progressive vision for our city. I think as a community we’re all tired of the lack of direction on Council and aren’t seeing our issues represented. I want to change that.
We need a new vision and voice for Central Ward and Adelaide City Council
Why I’m Running
I am a young professional who, like many people my age, has just moved into the city to pursue my career. I am the proud daughter of migrants, and my dad is a small business owner. I think that my story is representative of many who live in Adelaide, and I want to see our voices on council – particularly given that there are no women currently representing Central Ward, let alone young women.
What I Stand For
Adelaide is a city with community at its heart, and I believe council should nurture and encourage community connection. We have people from all walks of life living here, and our city should be a vibrant and innovative place to live, with something to offer everyone. Read more about my vision for Adelaide.
